Piles of Leaves

The weather has been terrible. I like water but I'd rather swim in it or roll in it than have it landing on my head when I walk my human.

One good thing about the changing weather is all the piles of leaves on the tree lawns. They are so much fun! And the new smells are terrific.

Of course the changing weather has also made the pesky squirrels very busy but I have been able to keep them away, for the most part, with my bark.

Hot enough for you?

Boy can I relate to this Irish Wolfhound at the Cleveland Irish Cultural Festival last weekend.

Hey - that's MY Road!

Dogs chase cars but this pachyderm had another approach when cars dared enter HIS road.

See what happens

Irish Setters, Wolfhounds and more

My people tried to put a green hat on me for some pictures on St Patrick's Day but I shook it off every time. It's not that I don't like the Irish (some of my best friends are Irish Setters) it's just that I don't like silly clothes.

But on St Patrick's Day it seems that every human and animal is Irish. Here are some photos of dogs (and horses with green hooves!) at the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Who me?

Why is it that dogs always get blamed for everything?

For example, my friend here was accused of stealing her owner's lipstick.

As she said, "No, I haven't seen your lipstick! Why would you even ask me that? I am so insulted! Every time something goes missing around here, everybody looks at and blames me! "

My Pal Luke

Congrats to my pal Luke.

He's a Berner - a Bernese Mountain Dog. He just got his Rally Obedience title at the Crown Classic Dog Show at the IX Center in December.

Here's a picture of him with his proud mother Joan.

Congrats Luke!
